When Your Character Comes To Life

Late in June, I posted an audition request for Another Place Another Time on ACX.  I received a number of auditions, liked them all, and fell in love with the first one.

I went through the contact/offer/contract process with the producer and narrator.  That was all business as usual until I received the first fifteen minutes of what will, this winter, become the Audible Book version of Another Place Another Time.

I wrote the book, and it's always been a favorite, maybe because there's so much of me in Leonard Jacobson, or maybe because I love dogs, or maybe because Vietnam was a 90 degree turning point on my life.  Regardless of why I love Leonard Jacobson and his great dog, Whispers, my love escalated when Leonard came to life in this recording.
